1. Who We Are
Techstack sp. z o.o. is a company registered in Poland (European Union).
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Techstack sp. z o.o. acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the App.
2. Where Your Data Is Stored
Our primary infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the European Union.
This means:
- Personal data is primarily stored within the EU
- EU data protection standards apply
- Some third-party service providers may process data outside the EU
Where international transfers occur, we apply appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. What Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to operate, maintain, and improve TellyTale.
3.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:

- Authentication method (Apple / Google / email login)
- Internal account identifier
This data is used to authenticate users and manage accounts.
3.2 Child Profile Information
Parents may create child profiles including:
- First name (optional)
- Age
- Interests (optional)
We do not require or collect:
- Last names
- Home addresses
- Precise location
- School or identity data
Child profile data is used solely to personalize stories.
3.3 Story Content

- Story prompts entered by the user
- Generated story content
- Story settings (tone, length, theme)
- Saved stories and reading progress
This data enables functionality such as generation, playback, and continuity.
3.4 Voice Data (If Used)
If voice features are used, we may collect:
- Voice recordings
- Voice model data
Voice data:
- Is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Is used only within your account
- Is not used for advertising
- Is not used to train models outside your usage
- Can be deleted by the user at any time
3.4a Voice Input (Speech-to-Text)
The App may allow users to provide optional voice input (for example, dictating story ideas), which is automatically converted into text.
When this feature is used:
- Voice input is processed solely for the purpose of converting speech into text
- The resulting text is used to generate or customize stories
- Voice input is not used for advertising or profiling
- Voice input is processed only as needed to provide this functionality
Depending on the feature, voice input may be processed by third-party service providers that perform speech-to-text conversion on our behalf.
Use of this feature is entirely optional.
3.4b Voice Recording for AI-Generated Narration
The App may allow users to record voice samples to generate synthetic narration for stories.
When this feature is used:
- Voice recordings are processed to create a synthetic voice used for narration within the App
- Voice data is used only to provide this functionality and personalize the user experience
- Voice recordings and generated voice models are not used for advertising or profiling
- Voice data is not used to train general-purpose models outside of your use of the App
Voice data may be processed by third-party service providers that perform voice processing or synthesis on our behalf.
Voice recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest and can be deleted by the user at any time.
Use of this feature is entirely optional.
3.5 Payment Information
Payments are processed through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play
We do not collect or store full payment details.
We may receive limited transaction data such as:
- Subscription status
- Purchase confirmation
- Billing period
3.6 Usage, Analytics, and Device Information
We collect limited technical and usage data, including:
- Device type
- Operating system
- App version
- IP address (used for security and fraud prevention)
- Device or other identifiers necessary for analytics, subscription management, and app functionality
- App usage events (e.g., story creation, playback)
We use third-party analytics services, including Amplitude, to understand how the App is used and to improve functionality.
We also use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and entitlement status.

We do not use this data for advertising.
We may also collect device or other identifiers necessary for analytics, subscription management, and app functionality.
